Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that“, Martin Luther King.

It’s difficult to write a blog post after what happened yesterday. I almost have no words. The day had been so good – we celebrated my birthday, had good food and laugh a lot. And then this happened. Reminds us of the reality that is the daily life for many people elsewhere in the world. It makes me extremely sad and above all very scared. Afraid of the cruelty and inhumanity, that exists several places in the world, moving closer and closer. This was not a religious act, but a terrorist attack and I think it is important to keep in mind.

We must stand together, irrespective of nationality and religion, keep our spirits up and reach out to all those refugees who suffer from this terrible situation. I stumbled upon a quotation on the social media today, which is worth remembering: “Darkness can not drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate can not drive out hate; only love can do that”, Martin Luther King. Today, my thoughts go to all the innocent people and their families affected by the tragedy in Paris, Beirut, Baghdad and not at least all other places in the world that are currently suffering from this terrible terrorist organization.
