Here it goes:

During Summer most people tend to wear light materials. It can be quite of a challenge to bring your favorite silk items on vacation, as they get very wrinkled in your suitcase and sometimes it’s not possible to borrow an iron from the hotel. I have tried several options, when I’ve been abroad, which I thought you might would find useful as well. Here it goes:
1. Use a facial spray:
I came up with this idea when I was in Goa with my mother and had brought a lot of silk tops with me which were all curly when we finally got there. Since we lived in a bamboo hut, there were not many opportunities to grab an iron. This is how you do it: hold the facial spray 20-30 cm from the garment and spray evenly all over it. This trick only works on thin materials such as silk and it is really effective.
2. Use a hair straightener:
A hair straightener can be used for many things other than to straighten your hair. It can not straighten out a whole dress, but it can with great effect be used to correct shirt collars and edges.
3. Take advantage of the bathroom:
This tip only works if you have plenty of time. Since there is always much heat and steam in a bathroom, it’s a good idea to hang your clothes out there near the shower. The steam and heat from the shower will quietly straighten out your clothes.
4. Use a hairdryer:
Do you have a larger fold/wrinkle that will not straighten out, it may be a good idea to make the area wet under the tap and then use a hair dryer to dry and straighten out the garment.
5. Use your mattress:
Take the desired (curly) piece of clothing and roll it up like a burrito. :) Then put it under your mattress in the evening and the morning after it should be straigthened out. The heat and the weight of the mattress straighten out your clothes.

Thanks a lot. It’s from a Swedish brand called Rodebjer. :)
Ej, hahaha!

:P Hihi…

Good to hear that ;)
Hvor er kjolen fra? Og har du et link til den? :)
Den er fra Rodebjer. Tror desværre ikke den kan købes længere. :)
Hej Christina
Damp washcloth and dryer on low setting for 10-20 minutes, then hang up or run on air fluff for 10 minutes while you do whatever else needs doing before getting dressed.
Thanks for the great tip! ;) Sounds like a good idea! Have to try that out!
Wow this would have really came in handy yesterday lol thanks

Haha… That’s right. ;)
These are really useful and helpful tips. I always use hair straightening iron as well! Thank you.
Glad you could use my tips ;)
Great tips! I also find that hanging clothes up as soon as you arrive helps some wrinkles fall out over the course of a day or so -the lazy girl’s solution.

I love to wear linen even when I travel. I have a 2 oz spray bottle that I pack (empty). When I get where I am going I hang stuff up and spray it a little with plain water and pull the garment straight. Works for every fabric, rayon calls for more spraying however.
I was using Downy de-wrinkler and kept refilling the bottle with water until it was all gone and realized plain water works just as well. At home I use a regular sized bottle with a drop of lavender oil. A few hours later and you’re ready to go.
Thanks for your great advice! ;) That’s a great idea! Sounds nice with a drop of lavender oil as well. Have to try that out! Thanks for sharing. ;)
Who would of thought?! Thanks for the tips! I will keep them in mind!

You’re welcome. :)
These are all great tips for having versatile ways to iron clothing. Sometimes you arent in a position to take out an iron or maybe it broke and you need an alternative. These are very helpful and I will definitely have to try them out in the near future. Amazing post!
