Yesterday we went on a day tour to the town of Ourika in the Atlas Mountains, as you may have seen on Instagram. To start with we felt that we had been caught in a tourist trap as the tour started with the guide offering a camel ride and the possibility of grinding our own argan oil in a very touristic scenery… My first thought was how we could get away without anyone noticing it, haha ! However, it appeared to be a fairly nice tour as we had some free time to explore the surroundings on our own. The view of the mountains was undoubtedly worth it. There were so many mountain goats all over the place running around and climbing the trees. I’m still speechless at how agile an animal it is in relation to how stiff it looks, haha… The trees were beginning to become golden and you could imagine the snow on top of the mountains. It was just so beautiful! :)
